Greg Appelhof: CEO

Greg Appelhof is currently the president and CEO of Netwerk, and SPRING in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Greg has over 20 years experience in working with consumer technology manufacturer through direct, distribution, and service businesses.

In 1992, Greg was made partner and named VP of Sales and Marketing. His primary role was developing a growth plan for Graphic Technologies, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of HMA. From 1992 – 1997, Greg lead GTI from a $20M regional distributor of computer peripherals into an $85M national distributor to dealers and VARS with 5 regional offices.

In 1998, he was named president and CEO of the publicly traded Netdirect Corporation, a B2B E-Commerce company. During his tenure, he raised $16 million in capital, completed three acquisitions and grew annual sales to over $150 million.

John Harvatine: CFO

John Harvatine serves as Chief Financial Officer of Netwerkx, and nurtures the financial foundation of its business, helping to sustain Netwerkx’ growth and the development of its sister companies. Mr. Harvatine serves as Chief Financial Officer of MBI Publishing Company LLC and served as its Vice President of Finance. A veteran financial executive with over 30 years of experience, he spent 19 years as Chief Financial Officer for publicly and privately-held technology companies, including Netdirect and AmeriData Technologies. Mr. Harvatine holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Katie Romnes: VP of Operations & Finance

Katie has worked for Netwerkx since the beginning and brings a wealth of company and industry knowledge, having been involved in all facets of the business.

Katie has significant financial and  software installation experience and is a certified Quickbooks professional.  Prior to joining Netwerkx, Katie worked in various accounting positions as an outsourced employee for By Design Solutions Inc.  Prior to By Design Solutions Inc,  Katie was the Director of Casino Finance for Mystic Lake Casino overseeing the cash handling function & collection departments.  Katie also has significant experience in developing and building her own business.  Katie has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Winona State University.

Todd Larson: VP of Sales and Business Development

Larson brings sales, merchant, and business development expertise to Netwerkx. Over his 30-plus year career, he has had a proven track record of successfully devising and deploying solutions for both the consumer and business customer using multiple channels such as direct business sales, Web sales, and retail. His expertise spans both consumer and commercial electronics and solutions. He has built successful teams from the bottom up and delivered strong revenue growth in many industries such as hospitality, insurance, financial, builder, education, healthcare, incentive, commercial audio video public viewing, and more.

Larson was Director of National Accounts and Business Development at Best Buy from 2001-2013, where he developed many of the fundamental business capabilities, vendor, and customer relationships that have become the foundation of the business-to-business division. He led individual talent and team performance improvement that grew the department to over $400M in annually revenue. Larson also was part of the Sound of Music team in the early 80’s that was the foundation of Best Buy.

Prior to Best Buy, Larson was the Divisional Merchandising Manager & Senior Buyer at Damark International, leading the company in its catalog direct to consumer business managing many product categories including audio, video, office, mobile, mobile audio, and more.
